Lee DeWyze is from Mount Prospect, Illinois, and is the winner of American Idol 2010!

Lee has 2 earlier albums, So I’m Told (2007) and Slumberland (2010).

He auditioned in Chicago at the United Center on June 22, 2009.  Lee never graduated from high school, and worked as a paint salesman from the age of 15.

Lee’s musical influences include Eric Clapton and Cat Stevens.

I have decided not to watch American Idol again after this season. The judges make me extremely angry because they behave so unprofessionally on the program. Paula and Simon take the attention away from the contestants with their childish self-centered episodes. The show is about the contestants; not about the judges.

For many years I have been watching American Idol Simon really make the show.Although the contestants really put it all out but the judges really make those nites more powerful and happening.I wonder how its gonna be like when the Idol show will be live on air without Simon around.
